GOT QUESTIONS?

We have answers

Everything you need to know before applying.

  • Having your own equipment is a huge bonus and can increase the number of bookings we are able to put you forward for. A PA system is especially valuable, while lighting and additional equipment are helpful but not essential. At the very minimum, you will need a reliable device to play your backing tracks. If you are unsure what equipment to purchase, our technical team are always happy to offer advice based on your budget and setup.

  • We cannot guarantee bookings, as the industry changes throughout the year and is heavily seasonal. Summer periods, Christmas and New Year are naturally much busier. What we can say is that we work with a wide range of clients and venues across the UK, creating regular opportunities for our acts. Staying open to different venues and gaining experience helps build your profile, visibility and future opportunities.

  • Keeping your datesheet updated is incredibly important. It allows us to quickly put you forward for opportunities, confirm bookings faster and contact you for last-minute work or replacements. If we do not know your availability, or we are waiting for a response, you could miss out on potential bookings. The more accurate your availability is, the more opportunities we can consider you for.

  • At minimum, you should have a professional poster and a showreel, ideally filmed live. Good quality photos, videos and branding make a huge difference and help clients browse and promote acts more effectively. The more professional media you can provide, the stronger your profile will appear.

  • We work across the entire UK and also provide entertainment internationally, including cruise ships, overseas contracts and fly-out performances.

  • We supply entertainment for a huge variety of venues and events including holiday parks, hotels, football clubs, corporate events, casinos, bingo halls, festivals, theatres and independent venues. One week we could be booking entertainment for a major festival or stadium venue, and the next for a local event or private function.

  • Yes. You are free to work with other agents and accept your own independent bookings. However, if HUB Live secures a booking for you at a venue, any return bookings at that same venue within a 12-month period must continue through HUB Live, as outlined in our contracts.

  • Applications are typically reviewed within around five working days, although this can vary during busier times of the year.

  • If accepted, we will contact you via email and add you to our contracts and booking system. We will guide you through the full booking process, including contracts, check-ins, check-outs and standard procedures, before your first booking. Your profile will also be added to the website and our internal communication groups.

  • If your application is unsuccessful, it may simply mean that the timing or fit is not quite right at the moment. We will still keep your details on file, as future opportunities may arise that better suit your act. We will always contact you with an outcome, and a no now does not necessarily mean no forever.
